DNA testing showed that Yuki was:

87.5% gray wolf.

8.6% Siberian Husky.

3.9% German Shepherd.

He lived at Shy Wolf Sanctuary in Florida after being abandoned when he was young.

Yuki eventually became famous online because of photos showing just how enormous he looked next to his handlers.

He weighed around 120 pounds.

Some viral pictures made him look even bigger because of camera perspective, but he was still an unusually large and striking animal.

His high wolf content also meant he had behaviors that made him unsuitable as a normal household pet.

That is why he spent his life at a sanctuary instead.

He looked like something straight out of a fantasy movie.

But Yuki was very real.
