AITA for being outraged after walking in on my husband hugging the babysitter goodbye?

My husband and I have been married for five years, and we have a beautiful three-year-old daughter. Due to our hectic work schedules, we decided to hire a babysitter, Emily, to help out a few evenings a week.

Yesterday, I came home earlier than expected and walked into the living room to find my husband, Jack, hugging Emily goodbye. The hug seemed a little too tight and lasted a bit longer than what I would consider appropriate. They quickly separated when they saw me, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off.

I confronted Jack immediately, asking him what was going on. He seemed surprised by my reaction and insisted that it was just a friendly hug to thank Emily for her help. He claimed that I was overreacting and reading too much into it.

But I can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to this than meets the eye. I trust my husband, but the hug just felt wrong. Am I overreacting, or is there something more going on between Jack and Emily?
