When attending a class, have you ever felt the want to nod off? I’ll admit, there were a few occasions when I dozed off in class. If only I had gone to bed earlier, I could have prevented the majority of those incidents in retrospect. I guess I didn’t have the self-control to pull myself away from video games and books and get my lazy self to bed! Regretfully, my parents weren’t overly strict about bedtime!

I remember one particular instance where I fell asleep in class and my teacher chose not to wake me up. I fell asleep without her disturbing me, and the next thing I knew, the classroom was empty. She was planning a surprise for me the next day. I was required to write “I will not fall asleep in class” five hundred times. That was definitely memorable and imparted some important knowledge to me.
