A popular OnlyFans claimed her family disowned her after a relative found her account and put her pictures in the family’s group chat.
Kayla Jade from Australia, who is one of the most popular models on the adult content platform, created her last year and gained a huge following.
Jade said she didn’t tell her family and friends about her account but didn’t keep it a secret either.
But as her popularity grew on the platform, one of her male relatives, who, according to Kayla, is nearly 45 years old, paid to access her content and later shared her pictures in the family’s group chat.
Taking the matter to her TikTok account, Jade said the relative’s doing was absolutely illegal. She also explained how her family reacted after discovering she is an OnlyFans model.
“I wasn’t gonna bother hiding it because I knew it would come out eventually,” said Kayla.
“My goal was to be super successful so I wasn’t gonna bother trying to hide it from friends or family because I knew it was just gonna come out. As time went on I got bigger and bigger and people started seeing my stuff,” she added. “Friends started seeing my stuff and eventually my family saw it. When my mum and sister found out they couldn’t even confront me about it, they had to ask my dad to call me about it.”
She said her mom and sister were ‘too-scared’ to discuss the matter with her, so they asked her dad to confront her. Surprisingly, her father was supportive of his daughter and didn’t discourage her.
However, the rest of her family didn’t share the same reaction, and one of her relatives leaked her pictures and showed it to everyone in the group chat.
After finding out that she was an OnlyFans star, Kayla’s family disowned her and said they would have nothing to do with her anymore.
“He didn’t need to be so aggressive, he could have just told them,” she said in her video. “I then got a message from another family member, completely disowning me. They took me off every [social media] platform and didn’t speak to me for a year. I was hurt but glad to have that toxicity out of my life.”
Kayla added that before the family fiasco, she used to care about people’s opinions, but now she doesn’t care at all.
“I was fuming, it’s just so violating, I trusted him, thought we had a good relationship,” she said before adding that she confronted the relative to ask why he did what he did.
“I confronted him about it. He didn’t admit it, blamed it on other people, he couldn’t handle his actions. I think when people have nothing going on in their own lives, they just start drama,” she said.
“The way people treat sex workers is disgusting,” Jade continued. “You think they would try and get us help not ruin our lives. No respect for privacy whatsoever, we’re just here earning and living, the last thing we need is people investigating our life.”
